More than a legal perspective

I’ve spent my career working across law, business and brand, giving me an understanding of the beauty industry that goes well beyond traditional legal counsel.

Before advising brands, founders, executives and talent across beauty, luxury and entertainment as a lawyer, I spent years working inside the luxury industry. During nearly a decade at BVLGARI/LVMH, I led communications for Beauty and Hotels & Resorts, while also working across the broader luxury brand. While there, I earned my law degree and became a lawyer, bringing a legal perspective to an industry and business environment I already knew from the inside.

I later founded The Capone Group, a boutique communications and advisory firm representing leading names in beauty and luxury. Building my own business gave me another perspective - this time as an entrepreneur responsible for clients, relationships and the day-to-day realities of running a company.

My perspective broadened further when I moved in-house at a luxury skincare company, first as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel and later as President and General Counsel. In those roles, I was both lawyer and operator - advising on legal, regulatory, governance, intellectual property and risk matters while also working across the business, from finance and production to marketing, retail partnerships and global logistics.

That combination of experience shapes the way I advise clients today. I approach every engagement with the judgment of a General Counsel, the perspective of an operator and the instincts of a communications strategist. It means looking beyond the legal question itself to understand the business behind it, the brand around it and the broader implications of the decision. The result is advice grounded in legal judgment, commercial reality and an understanding of how brands build and protect value.
